Who doesn’t love a good perfume? I have always been about finding a fragrance that every other person isn’t wearing which can be hard. During the summertime I love scents that are light and floral, and the wintertime calls for deeper more robust smells, maybe something a little less feminine. Below are some of my favorites.
Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey: It’s hard just to pick one favorite from this collection. I love so many of her scents. You can wear just one perfume or mix and layer to create your own personal vibe. The Nectarine Blossom and Honey is always my go to. Some of my other favorites are the Wild Bluebell, Orange Blossom, Wood Sage and Sea Salt and French Lime Blossom.
Coqui Coqui Coco: I discovered this line on a trip we took to Tulum a few years ago. The perfumery was one of the prettiest little stores I have ever seen. Unfortunately, the one in Tulum has since closed, but they still have two other locations in Mexico. They also sell their goodies on Net-A-Porter. My favorite is the Coco, it reminds me of laying on the beach, listening to the waves with a cold margarita in my hand. Doesn’t get much better than that. The Tobacco is another favorite.
Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge: This is my winter must have, and probably my favorite perfume of all time. The smell is so intoxicating. It reminds me of sitting in a dark room in Paris with a roaring fire and a cocktail. Tom Ford’s private blends are expensive but they contain oils which make the fragrance last forever. I can still smell it on my skin at the end of a long day.
Diptyque Doson: Diptyque doesn’t just make candles (which are amazing). The perfumes are just as beautiful. The Doyon scent has hints of tuberose, pink peppercorn, and orange leaves. It’s strong but beautiful, and that's what I love about it.
L’ Artisan Parfumeur L'Été en Douce: This smells so fresh and soft. Its perfect for an everyday fragrance. The brand is based out of Paris and is sold at select places in the city. They have a fairly extensive collection. With scents ranging from soft to spicy. They’re is a chocolate and hot pepper one that I love.
