Weekend Recap

This weekend flew by, as they usually do, and I am already looking forward to the three-day weekend ahead. My husband coaches a 7th-grade lacrosse team, and sharing him with a bunch of 12th graders can be challenging at times, but this Friday night was their annual Wit vs. Fit game, where the kids play the parents and the coaches. It was fun to break out the stick and play again. It has been a while, and man, was I out of shape.

Saturday night, we went to a family friend's graduation party. They had an awesome pig roast in their backyard complete with fire pits, Frose (frozen rose), homemade elephant ears, and even some fireworks.

Sunday, I ventured out on the golf course with my husband for the first time in 5 years. To say it was interesting would be an understatement. I lost five balls, almost hit a person on my first tee shot, and learned to use the range finder, and we had a lot of laughs.  I am quickly running out of clothes in my closet that I can pass off as “appropriate” golf wear. Is it just me, or are women's golf clothes the absolute worst? The fact that I played nine holes (I usually lose interest after 4) is pretty much a golfing miracle in my book. I am looking forward to this week flying by as quickly as this last weekend did.
